Jakarta, March 8 2024 – Two Committees of the Land Bank Authority, Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani and Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) reviewed the North Penajam Paser (PPU) master plan mockup of the Land Bank Agency which was displayed at the Ministry of ATR’s National Working Meeting activities /BPN 2024 in Jakarta, 6-9 March 2024.

On this occasion, the Head of the Land Bank Agency explained the concept of development spatial planning in the PPU area. To Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Minister AHY, Parman explained about the VVIP IKN Airport project and Section 5B Toll Road which were built on the HPL of the Land Bank Agency.

Apart from that, it also explains the areas that are Land Objects for Agrarian Reform (TORA). “We have allocated 1,873 hectares for Agrarian Reform, regarding compensation for planting and growing of affected communities, this has also been completed by the Integrated Team formed by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government,” said Parman while accompanying him, Thursday (7/3/2024).

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani welcomed the efforts made by the Land Bank Agency. The former Managing Director of the World Bank hopes that the master plan that has been created will further support the presence of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN).

“This location really supports IKN and also Balikpapan,” he said.

Meanwhile, Minister AHY said that development at the PPU Land Bank Agency’s HPL would greatly support the economy of the community and the surrounding area. He said he had asked his staff to support the Land Bank Agency in order to accelerate land acquisition, especially to support IKN.

“One thing we can report is that currently the land bank that can support the IKN area is 4,000 hectares which we are preparing to become a Land Bank, 300 hectares are being prepared for the airport, while others in the surrounding area will become supporting systems which are a necessity for the authorities IKN,” he explained.

For information, the HPL of the Land Bank Agency in the PPU area is 4,162 Ha. Of this amount, the Land Bank Agency has allocated 347 Ha of land for the construction of IKN VVIP Airport, 150 Ha of IKN Section 5B Toll Road, 1,873 Ha of Agrarian Reform and the remainder for

social interests, economic equality and in the interests of national development.

The committees from the Land Bank Agency are the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, the Minister of Finance and the Minister of PUPR.
