Penajam Paser Utara, 21 March 2024 – In an effort to organize the area in accordance with Government Regulation Number 64 of 2021 concerning Land Bank Agencies, the Land Bank Agency in Penajam Paser Utara Regency (PPU) is currently holding a series of activities to optimize the use of land over Management Rights ( HPL) to support national development and the public interest.

The Land Bank Agency is committed to developing regional master plans that support productivity and sustainability with a focus on rights management and regional planning. Activities that are being prepared include land use for agrarian reform of 1,873 hectares, construction of the VVIP IKN airport with an area of ​​347 hectares with the first phase operational target next July, and construction of the segment 5B toll road.

Head of the Land Bank Agency, Parman Nataatmadja, said on Thursday (21/3) that the Land Bank Agency is trying to manage abandoned state land into a more productive area so that it can benefit the interests of the general public.

“Of the 4,162 Ha of land that has become HPL for the Land Bank Agency, we have prepared 1,873 Ha for the Agrarian Reform program. The land will be given to the community with the subject determination verified by the GTRA chaired by the Regent. “So, we have accommodated the fulfillment of people’s rights,” said Parman.

Along the way, challenges often arise through irresponsible individuals who try to control Land Bank Agency land using illegal means.

Project Team Leader Land Bank Agency North Penajam Paser Regency Moh. Syafran Zamzami on the same occasion said that actions such as building non-permanent huts, irregular tents and massive felling of trees had disrupted regional order. The Land Bank Agency together with related parties have taken persuasive disciplinary steps through appeals to ensure the security and sustainability of state asset management.

The control of buildings/cottages located in the development area of ​​the Land Bank Agency is a form of safeguarding state assets carried out by the Land Bank Agency from land mafia elements who control state land without good intentions, in the name of certain groups for personal interests. Meanwhile, residents who use land properly have also been registered with the sub-district and

sub-district, then has the right to become a prospective recipient subject in the Agrarian Reform program above the HPL of the Land Bank Agency in the PPU area.

“We understand that currently the Land Bank Agency’s HPL location is a very strategic location, so there are complex dynamics in society which can lead to attempts to control land and arbitrary actions by individuals. “However, we emphasize that all Land Bank Agency activities are carried out with a humanist approach and involve all related parties,” said Syafran.

The Land Bank Agency also coordinates with the regional government and the local Forkompimda to plan a better future for the Land Bank Agency. With this national strategic project, the Land Bank Agency hopes to provide significant benefits to the surrounding community through increasing land value and contributing to development.
